Use Zapier when you want to generate images or PDFs from apps like Google Sheets, Airtable, forms, WordPress, Google Drive, or Slack.

Available actions

  • Create Image: renders a template and returns a hosted image URL.
  • Create PDF: renders a template and returns a hosted PDF URL.

Prerequisites

  • A Bannerify project API key.
  • A saved Bannerify template.
  • A Zapier trigger that provides the data you want to place in the template.

Connect Bannerify to Zapier

  1. Create a Bannerify project API key in Dashboard → API Keys.
  2. In Zapier, connect Bannerify with that API key.
  3. Choose a template. Zapier loads your template list automatically.
  4. Map trigger data into the template layer fields or paste a Modifications JSON object.
After the action runs, Zapier receives a url field that points to the generated image or PDF. Use that URL in later steps to upload, email, save, or publish the file.

Google Sheets recipe

  1. Trigger: Google Sheets → New Spreadsheet Row.
  2. Action: Bannerify → Create Image.
  3. Map columns into template fields like headline, price, and photo.
  4. Action: Google Drive → Upload File using the Bannerify url.
  5. Action: Slack → Send Channel Message with the generated URL.

WordPress recipe

  1. Trigger from Airtable, Google Sheets, or a form submission.
  2. Render the image with Bannerify.
  3. Use WordPress → Upload Media with the generated URL.
  4. Use the uploaded media ID as a featured image or inside a post.
