# Connect Zapier

> Generate Bannerify images and PDFs in Zapier workflows.

Use Zapier when you want to generate images or PDFs from apps like Google Sheets, Airtable, forms, WordPress, Google Drive, or Slack.

## Available actions

* **Create Image**: renders a template and returns a hosted image URL.
* **Create PDF**: renders a template and returns a hosted PDF URL.

## Prerequisites

* A Bannerify project API key.
* A saved Bannerify template.
* A Zapier trigger that provides the data you want to place in the template.

## Connect Bannerify to Zapier

1. Create a Bannerify project API key in **Dashboard → API Keys**.
2. In Zapier, connect Bannerify with that API key.
3. Choose a template. Zapier loads your template list automatically.
4. Map trigger data into the template layer fields or paste a `Modifications JSON` object.

After the action runs, Zapier receives a `url` field that points to the generated image or PDF. Use that URL in later steps to upload, email, save, or publish the file.

## Google Sheets recipe

1. Trigger: **Google Sheets → New Spreadsheet Row**.
2. Action: **Bannerify → Create Image**.
3. Map columns into template fields like `headline`, `price`, and `photo`.
4. Action: **Google Drive → Upload File** using the Bannerify `url`.
5. Action: **Slack → Send Channel Message** with the generated URL.

## WordPress recipe

1. Trigger from Airtable, Google Sheets, or a form submission.
2. Render the image with Bannerify.
3. Use **WordPress → Upload Media** with the generated URL.
4. Use the uploaded media ID as a featured image or inside a post.
